In the welcome post I promised to help you get setup with karaoke at home, and we are going to do just that in this post. This leverages some Experience Karaoke technology to help have the karaoke experience (queuing and playing of songs) to be handled by software and eliminates most of the overhead that a Karaoke Jockey (KJ) does for you (or you do yourself). Because the theme of this post is "quick and cheap", we will forgo using a microphone and just focus on " A Cappella ". Welcome!  We are Experience Karaoke and this is a blog to discuss technical aspects of karaoke: both software and hardware.   It is no surprise that the pandemic has taken its toll on the karaoke scene, but people are persevering.   For example, there is a large Facebook group named Quarantine Karaoke  that had some exciting news recently.  Additionally, technology is being stretched to accommodate the needs of karaoke fans: Zoom Karaoke Party   In the coming posts, we will get you set up with karaoke at home and explore various options that are available.
